Foundation of the Paul Messner craft business for tool and fixture construction in Kirchheim.
Commissioning of the first CNC lathe.
The second CNC lathe goes into operation. At this point, the company employs five staff members.
Renaming to Präzisionsmaschinenbau Paul Messner GmbH, a name that remains for the next decades.
The milling department is introduced to the company. The first CNC milling machine goes into operation, and the workforce increases to eight employees.
Relocation to a larger production facility in Ottobrunn near Munich, expanding milling capacities with two additional CNC machines. The number of skilled workers rises to 14.
Further expansion of production facilities at the site, enabling the company to continue growing. Additional machines are put into operation.
The company embraces automation and invests in a horizontal machining center with a six-fold pallet changer and 120 tools.
Long-time employee Christian Scheippl becomes a co-partner and managing director. At the same time, Paul Messner’s son, Bernd, joins the company.
Opening of a second location in Ottobrunn / Riemerling. A production hall of nearly 1,000 square meters is set up for series production. The workforce grows to over 20 employees.
Further expansion of the series production division. Seven horizontal milling centers reliably perform their work.
In December, the company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000.
Production capacities continue to increase. The company can now offer 100,000 production hours in series manufacturing. Additionally, the workforce surpasses 30 employees.
Bernd Messner becomes a shareholder and represents the company as managing director.
Consolidation of both locations into Ottobrunn / Riemerling. A new building for material logistics is commissioned.
Expansion of turning capacities, ensuring maximum productivity. The company now employs 43 highly skilled professionals.
Founder and majority shareholder Paul Messner passes away. The company remains family-owned and is continued by the second generation.
Modernization and rebranding: Präzisionsmaschinenbau Paul Messner GmbH is now officially renamed Messner GmbH and presents itself with a new logo and web design.
A major milestone is reached: An additional 500 sqm of production space is added at the Ottobrunn site, and a brand-new training department is established.
The company sets the course for the future. On September 2nd, the first four apprentices begin their training as precision mechanics.
In March 2021, the company receives DIN EN ISO 13485:2016 certification, officially qualifying it for the production and distribution of precision components for the medical technology sector.
The pursuit of perfection in manufacturing highly complex CNC components continues. In April 2024, the company is certified for the production of aerospace products according to DIN EN 9100:2018.

Within framework agreements, we offer various warehousing strategies. After manufacturing, we store the products and prepare them for shipping. This includes packaging, labeling and storage of the finished products in accordance with your specifications.
